I started CircleRosse handcrafted cribbage boards to share what came out of the love of my father. My father grew up learning the game of cribbage and was exceptionally good at the game. He could count the cards accurately before we could even lay our hand down on the table. He taught all six of us boys how to play.

As we were growing up, he always played the guitar at our family campouts, special occasions and during the big Columbus Day storm that hit in Oregon in the late 60's, while the whole family huddled in the basement.

When my father passed, I thought of making something for my 8 siblings for the following Christmas in honor of our father. As we were growing up we had a couple of years where we had to handmake all our Christmas presents which gave me the idea of making these unique guitar cribbage boards for my brothers and brother-in-laws to bring the many memories of my father as he so enjoyed the game of cribbage and music.

These guitar cribbage boards are made to order as they are precious to those who have an interest in cribbage and/or music. This being the case it takes approximately two weeks to create and they come with a deck of handmade playing cards to match the design, Electric and Acoustic guitar themes (see photos on home page).

As an artist I had to come up with a unique package so that that the one who receives these unique hardwood cribbage boards will know a precious piece of art is awaiting them. Knowing it is a precious and lasting museum piece I came up with the crate and wood filling to protect the cribbage boards during its travel to your home.

To display this unique cribbage board in your home with pride I have created the maple hardwood display stand. This display stand is hand made with the same care as the cribbage board itself.

The unique playing cards needed a home next to the displayed cribbage board. The maple hardwood playing card box was designed for that purpose so you are always ready to play cribbage.
